1. Increase your UNREAL memory. Depending on how much memory you have currently in your computer and the quality of that memory you can increase the memory right in your Unreal "Preference" console. First thing is to find out how much memory your computer has, by going to your windows desktop and using your mouse's right click button, right click on "My computer". You will then see a list of choices, choose the Properties button and left click on that option. You will now see a page open and down toward the bottom will tell you how much memory your computer has installed . Remember this number! Now.. open your Unreal game to play mode, after it opens to the main screen, hit your tilde key.~ . This will bring up your UT console, in the white box type in preferences, after doing so you will see a list of innercore settings. BE VERY CAREFUL! not to set the wrong setting by mistake thus it will effect your game and possibly make your UT game not function properly. Anyway after opening to the core settings double click on Advanced, then double click on Game Engine Settings. Your Cache meg size at default is 4, now by remembering how much memory you have in your computer, highlight the 4 and erase it so the box is empty, now add 3/4 of the full system memory you have in the box. So.. if you have 128mb full system memory, type in 96. If you have 256, type in 192, for 512 memory type in 384. After that is done click on the X at the top of the open window, the window will disappear, hit your tilde~ again and the inner core settings window will disappear. Now ..REBOOT your computer. This should increase your performance in your Unreal Tournament game. Tired of seeing the UT FLYBY sequence? Here is a tip for all those nasty
